Safety Policy
Fewster Painting Inc., is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. It is our belief that all accidents are preventable, and every reasonable step will be taken to provide for the safety of our employees. Production requirements and operational decisions will take safety into consideration, and all employees will be expected to follow safety practices at all times.
Fewster Painting implements a drug testing policy to ensure the safety of our employees as well as the safety of the jobsite. We complete a background check for all of our new employees including verification of all documents used in the hiring process. Our Foremen are first aid and CPR trained. Many of our employees are certified to operate boom and man lifts. Some of our employees have taken lead certification classes and are lead certified. We also have a safety program in effect which includes weekly tool box talks to remind our crews the importance of safety for our employees as well as the jobsite.
Fewster Painting, Inc. will comply with all federal, state and consensus safety standards and regulations. Management is responsible, and accepts the responsibility for leadership of the safety and health programs, for its effectiveness and improvement, and for providing the safeguards required to ensure safe conditions. It is the responsibility of all employees to have a positive attitude toward injury and illness prevention and report safety and health concerns immediately. It is our goal to provide a safe, healthy, and productive work environment that will be professionally fulfilling, financially rewarding, and profitable.
